Robbie and I feel strongly about providing opportunities for syllabic poets to publish their poetry. We’re both thrilled to sponsor & to be part of the 2025 Sunflower Tanka Anthology.

Robbie has created a special piece of art for the cover. Unicorn Cats Publishing Services will be creating the EPUB and print book & covers for publication on Amazon.com, with an expected publication date in the first week of December 2025.

Submissions Open August 9–September 9, 2025, for the 2025 edition of the Sunflower Tanka Anthology.

We’ve created a site on Blogger: https://sunflowertanka.blogspot.com. We knew, eventually, Sunflower Tanka will need a site to list the different yearly editions. It’s also a place to find the buying information for the anthologies.

The Sunflower Tanka information on Tanka Tuesday (WordPress) will remain. 🌻

Robbie & I will reveal the theme for this year’s theme on August 9th, on Tanka Tuesday.com & sunflowertanka.blogspot.com.

      Eugi, if you use Chrome, Blogger is a breeze to set up. I did have help from Melissa Lemay on how to get the pages to show on the top menu. It’s perfect for a permanent site for the Anthology. Thanks so much for your support. 🌻

        I follow a few on Blogger, and often thought about setting up my own site. I’m still working on revamping my WP site. We’ll see.

        The themes on Blogger are free and there are no ads. Plus, you can get some colors for hyperlinks, unlike WP. Now, they make you pay for colors. Plus they plaster ads all over. ( I use an ad blocker and that helps). Followit.com will send you an email for comments. For a simple site/blog, it’s a win. 💜
