A question to clarify. Do we capitalize the first words in each line of a tanka puente? I notice the example you give does, but you reminded us that tanka poems do not use capitalization.

No, we shouldn’t capitalize the first letter of each line in tanka. I’ll correct that poem. There are some poets who write freestyle poetry and they forget to not capitalize. I try to catch this issue through editing the journal. Thanks for catching that error. 💜
